Malecón 2000, located in the city of Guayaquil next to the Guayas River, is an urban regeneration project of the old Malecón Simón Bolívar (2.5 km long). There you can enjoy the great monuments of Guayaquil history, such as the Hemicycle Museums, gardens, fountains, shopping malls, restaurants, bars, food courts, also the first IMAX cinema in South America, and the docks, from where you can board boats for day and night walks along the Guayas River
Santay Island it is located on the Guayas River 800 meters away from the city of Guayaquil and belongs to Durán. The area of the island is 2,174 hectares. Santay Island is another option where people from Guayaquil and others can visit the Pearl to spend a pleasant time surrounded by nature. This protected area of 2,174 hectares contains 60 species of flora. Among the typical animals of the zone that can be seen are the crocodiles of the Coast, with 11 copies in nine years. There is also a craft stall. To get to Santay Island you must travel by boat from the pier next to the naval Yacht Club. The cost of the return trip is $4 for adults and $2 for children (which include a snack). From Friday to Sunday it is open from 09:00 to 17:00.
The Metropolitan Cathedral of Guayaquil is located in the center of Guayaquil, built between 1547, with beautiful semi-Gothic style towers. It was the main church in the middle of the 16th century. It is also known as the Mother Church. It is characterized by the Gothic style of its towers and constitutes one of the most important religious icons of the city. These are in the back and have a central nave of dome, where the statue of the Christ King blessing Guayaquil is located.

Atacames is the most visited resort in the province of Esmeraldas. It is part of the cantonal head and is a few miles of other attractive beaches such as those of Shua, Castelnuovo, San Carlos, tonsupa, Same, Tonchigue and Galera, all fishing villages, calm waters ideal for swimming, diving and surfing.
The Atacames tourist attraction in addition to its beaches is the exuberant nature, and richness of black folklore in its various manifestations is added to food, where you can enjoy the most delicious dishes from the sea, you can also enjoy the delicious, “coco loco”, a typical drink made with coconut water and caipirinhas.

Its name, “Ram Point” in English, stems from the rocky headland located at the southeast end of the beach. Punta Carnero Beach has been chosen many times to be the venue of not just national surf competitions, but also at an international level.
The beach extends for approximately 1.6 miles (2.57 kilometers) and is relatively wide, with white to gray sand, medium waves and a prevalent inland breeze.
