Class Day in our Spanish School is described here, with schedules and activities:
Class Day in our Spanish School will start with the student filling out some forms containing personal information. After, if the student has any prior knowledge of Spanish he will take a placement test because is important determines the level in which the student needs to start the Spanish lessons.
Consequently, as soon as the student is placed in his or her level, the Academic Director will introduce the instructor to the student and he will start to correct the test with the student to make sure all the topics are understand by the student and so they will study in the correct level.
After a brief introduction and immersion in the language, classes will begin, the student will receive an student book, which is exclusive to this Center and which our instructors are trained to properly work with it. There are 12 books in total that has three lessons in which the student will find exercises, readings and a grammar compendium about the content of the book.
Our method is supplemented by exercises, discussions, games, cultural excursions in order to make teaching more effective, consequently learning spanish will be more natural.

After each lesson, the student make an oral and written quiz to assure the knowledge is properly acquired. The time set for each lesson, and for each level depends entirely on each student.
Furthermore we also provide extra activities for the students, which are organized in a ideal schedule in order to all the students are able to enjoy their spare time after every daily lesson. The purpose is to offer further knowledge of different sites and of Ecuadorian culture, as well as for inter cultural experiences. These activities are optional and provided at no additional cost.

Class day activities are:

  • Ecuadorian cooking classes: Tuesday 10:00 – 12:00
  • City tours to museums, art galleries, etc: Thursday 10:50 – 12:30.
  • Conversation club: Wednesday 11:00 – 12:30.
  • Dance lessons featuring salsa and other Latin rhythms:

          Wednesday 16:30 – 17:30

  • Games: Wednesday 11:00 – 12:00.
  • Video: Friday 14:30 – 16:30.

Everything is organized by the School and students pay only for food for the cooking class.

Break:                         10:30 to 10:50
